Trip to Wraysbury Feb 25

Waves Shape

Some hardy Chiltern divers set out for a cold, luckily sunny Feb day to dive at Wraysbury. The site offers good facilities for training, shallow (12m max) with lots of sunken treasures, toilets and food/drink to keep warm. It’s not a site we often use as it is usually busy and the vis can differ from time to time however Richard, Alex and Ryan set about kitting up on this cold day (1 Degree) but were not disappointed in what they found underwater.

First dive was to the platforms where they were greeted with lots of pike and a big perch. Swimming around the edge in an anti-clockwise route they came up to the boat graveyard (collection of boats) where more fish was to gather. Navigation was easy on this occasion as they came out beaming saying it was 7-8m vis. Only 5 cars in the carpark What a treat. Benefits of going diving in the winter.

Second dive, they swam over to the boat graveyard again to see the fish. All came out beaming and very cold wanting food and drink, and rightly deserved i think on a cold Feb day.
